Lena (Lewis) Archibald PETITCODIAC, NB - Lena Maude (Lewis) Archibald, 98, of Fawcett's Special Care Home, Petitcodiac, and formerly Salisbury, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2005 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Salisbury, she was a daughter of the late Hartley and Emily (Yeo) Lewis. A homemaker she was a member of the Salisbury Baptist Church. Survived by a daughter, Thelma Jackson, Salisbury; son, Allison Lewis (Deborah), Second North River; stepchildren, Wendy Taylor and Ricci Archibald of Salisbury; sisters, Grace Lewis, Sackville, and Marion Freeman, Petitcodiac; brother, Stephen Lewis, Petitcodiac; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her first husband, George Lewis; second husband, Donald Archibald; daughters, Ella Killam, Eva Whalen and infant children Bertha and George; sister, Minnie Montgomery; brothers, Cecil and Delbert Lewis. There will be a private family funeral at the Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Lloyd O'Blenes officiating. Interment will be at Fairhaven Cemetery, Moncton. If so desired memorials to the Cancer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. www.keirsteads.ca
