WILLIAM DONALD CASKEY JULY 22, 1910 ­ FEBRUARY 20, 2010 He died as he had lived ­ a gentle man passing away suddenly, but peacefully in hospital on Febr uar y 20, 2010. Don was predeceased by his beloved wife, Eileen Louise (nee Filion). He was a wonderful father to Michael (Martha) of Ottawa, Elizabeth (Clay Perry) of Vancouver, Rosemary of Mission and Patricia (Warren Slade) of Toronto and was predeceased by his sister, Helen Dyke. He loved his two grandchildren dearly ­ Matthew Kent (Elizabeth) of Guelph and Heather Kent of Toronto. Don was born in Campbellford, Ontario. His working life was spent as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG (and its predecessor firms) where he worked in both the Kitchener and Toronto offices from 1936 to 1975. He truly loved his work and valued his colleagues. He was passionate about music, particularly opera, loved fine Belgian chocolate and spent his retirement years listening, reading widely and enjoying life. There will be a celebration of his life in early May in British Columbia and a service in Toronto later in the year. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
