HUTCHISON, HAROLD BRUCE Peacefully, at Sunnybrook Veterans' Residence on July 19, 2009 in his 102nd year. Predeceased by his wife Peggy (Madden) and his siblings Betty, Frances, Ralph, Doreen, Frank and Kenneth. Survived by his proud son Michael and his wife Sheila, his grandchildren Kirk (Nikki), Rob (Shannon), and Meg (James Cooke), his greatgrandchildren Kate and Kieran, and a bunch of nieces and nephews. Bruce grew up in Parkdale, graduated from UTS, played outside wing and dropkicked for his beloved Toronto Argonauts (1927-31), served with the Royal Canadian Artillery in Europe during World War II, and spent his entire career with the T. Eaton Company. Many thanks to the staff, volunteers and residents of Sunnybrook Veterans' Residence for making his last seven years so pleasant. A memorial service will be held in Sunnybrook Veterans' Chapel (H Wing) on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 11 a.m., with a reception after wards in the Blythwood Room. Donations to the Sunnybrook Veterans' Comfort Fund (K Wing, Room KGE39, 2075 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M4N 3M5) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Turner & Porter 'Yorke' Chapel, 416-767-3153.
