DEATH OF MRS. ROBERT TRENHOLME AT COATICOOK.

Dec. 15, 1924.

Word has been received of the death at one o'clock this morning of Mrs. Robert Trenholme of Coaticook. The late Mrs. Trenholme was 82 years of age. She had been ill only three days. Her death occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. McHarg.

The late Mrs. Trenholme was born at Trenholmville. She was the sister of Mr. George Armitage, Mr. Richard Armitage and Mrs. M. L. Ewing of this city. (Sherbrooke)

FUNERAL OF LATE MRS. TRENHOLME.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Ann Trenholme took place on Monday afternoon from the home of her daughter, Mrs. McHarg with whom she had lived for several months. The service was conducted by the Rev. I. Nelson of the Methodist Church, assisted by the Rev. G. Tyler, of the Baptist Church. Mr. & Mrs. Stuart Smith sang 'Face to Face', Mr. E. Armitage of Sherbrooke, sang 'Jesus Lover of My Soul', and Mrs. Pierce of Sherbrooke and Mr. W. Ewing of Richmond, sang 'It is Well With My Soul'. Professor Stone accompanied the singers.

The bearers were six nephews of the deceased, Messrs. Armitage Ewing, of Montreal; Wm. Ewing, of Richmond; Gordon and Ernest Armitage, Russell and Marcus Armitage of Sherbrooke. Floral tributes were ------.

Mrs. Trenholme is survived by Dr. G.A. Trenholme of Windsor, Ont.; Dr. Edward Trenholme of Orleans, Vt.; Mrs. (Dr.) McHarg, Mrs. Ella Tomkins and Miss Carrie Trenholme of Lethbridge.

Among those from out-of-town who attended the funeral were Mr. Robert Armitage, Mr. Will Ewing, of Richmond; Dr. & Mrs. Edward Trenholme of Orleans, Vt.; Miss Carrie Trenholme, of Lethbridge; Messrs. Armitage Ewing and Ernest Tomkins, of Montreal; Messrs. Richard, Walter, Gordon, Ernest, Russell and Marcus Armitage, Mr. & Mrs. George Armitage, Mrs. Pierce, Mrs. Ewing and Mr. Alex Fraser, of Sherbrooke.
