Title: An ICR Brakeman Arrested

St. John, Feb.18 - Yesterday afternoon, shortly before the arrival of the fast express from Halifax, Officer Collins, of the ICR police made an important arrest. Some time last year a gang of thieves operated succissfully for awhile around Pictou. Their line was the breaking into freight cars. The authorities got hold of all but one, and they were convicted of stealing liquor from a car and were sent to Dorchester. The one who escaped was a brakeman named Corey Lutz, and he succeeded in getting away to the United States. Some three weeks ago Officer Collins was led to believe that Lutz was not very far away and as he had never seen the man he got a description of him. Yesterday the man in question walked right into the officer's arms, as it were. - Sun
