CHARLES HORACE MALTHOUSE Peacefully on Sunday May 7, 2000, Charles H. Malthouse passed away at Oakview Place Personal Care Home, at the age of 90 years. Charles was predeceased by his parents; wife Ann in 1973 and wife Margaret, brother Victor; sister Nora; son Raymond and grandson Ronald. Charles is survived by daughter Doreen; seven grandchildren, Fred, Dennis, Donna, Diana, Jamie, Darlene, and Lisa; many great grandchildren, sisters, Thelma Philips, Doris Wallace of Winnipeg, and Patricia Cross of Langely B.C. as well as many nieces and nephews. Charles was born in Poplar Point Manitoba on December 18, 1909, and lived much of his early years in St. James. He was employed with Wilson Stationery as a sales representative for 31 years. He was a Mason and a founding member of Westworth United Church. Funeral service will be held Friday May 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Westworth United Church, 1750 Grosvenor Street with Reverend Terry Hidachuk officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel lawn Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to all the staff at Oakview Place Personal Care Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Winnipeg, 120 Donald Street, R3C 4G2, or a charity of your choice.
