Salisbury, Sept.27 - Mr. Clyde G. Steadman, the well known jeweller, of Sackville, and his son were in Salisbury on a sad mission on Tuesday. They were taking the body of Mr. Steadman's mother, who passed away on Sunday, to Albert County, for burial. The late Mrs. Steadman was a resident of Salisbury years ago and is held in kind remembrance by the older inhabitants. She was the widow of the late Rev. J. Currie Steadman who passed away some 16 years ago and who for many years was a resident of Prosser Brook and pastor of the Baptist Church at that place. Mrs. Steadman had reached the age of 89 years. Her maiden name was Miss Lucy A. Griffith, of Billtown, Nova Scotia.
