Formatting

If you are not familiar with how to produce formatting in a wiki page you may find it easiest to start with using the WikiWizard editor. In the upper right corner of the edit page there is a box labeled Editor: where you can select either "plain" or "WikiWizard". Using WikiWizard you can use the toolbar at the top of the page to perform simple editing such as setting a heading level, making text bold or italic, making lists, etc.. Using WikiWizard is a useful learning aid in that the formatting characters are still visible, so you can observe and learn how to use them.

Top level heading: start the line with !!!

Mid level heading: start the line with !!

Low level heading: start the line with !

Bold text: put two underscores before and after the text

Link to another wiki page: surround the word with square brackets

Note that a wiki page name must be a single word with no spaces, capitalize each word in the name, such WikiFormattingBasics
