COWAN, Margaret Belle (Mackenzie). The death of Margaret Belle (MacKenzie) Cowan, wife of the late Lucien Cowan occurred on Friday, September 12, 2008 at The Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1906 in Montreal, QC. She was the daughter of the late John and Katie (Ross) MacKenzie. Belle is survived by one daughter Suzanne Hill (Jack) of Rothesay, grandchildren Sarah and Miriam and great-grandchildren Sophie and Livia. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Lucien, sisters Kathleen White, Vesta Creese and Jean MacKenzie and one brother John MacKenzie. By request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Private family interment will take place in Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal at a later date. Donations in Belle's memory may be made to The Unitarian Service Committee or to the charity of the donors choice.
