The search forms on the PANB site have some limitations:

This search form allows you to search all of the PANB data sets with a single search. The results are a list of what records occur in each database along with links to the detailed individual records.

You may enter multiple names in either name field in which case a record that matches any of the names will be matched. Multiple surnames are useful if a name has a few common spelling variations, e.g. Clare, Clair and Claire. Multiple given names are useful if a person has multiple given names and sometimes went by their middle name, or if there are multiple spellings of the name. Names can be separated by spaces or commas. Surnames need to be complete to match, given names match if a given name in the record starts with the string entered in the form (e.g. entering the surname Taylor and the given name A in the search form will match Anne Taylor and James A. Taylor). Matching ignores case.
