It would seem that "Abel" was her late husband. To allow for proper alphabetic searching of the database, this info should be recorded after the given name. Also, birth year appears to be wrong, but it does say 1829 and must be recorded that way. (note added by: Carol Foisy)
the # is a 3 -when magnified, it is as long as the 9 and the bottom stroke is just more faint than the top (note added by: Cheryl Martyn)
