Surname Notes On This Page

In household 35, the enumerator wrote the surname as 'Roop', a suggested alternative surname is 'Roop'. The person suggesting the alternative surname provided this comment: '1891 census has Roop 1871 has Roup. I have been working on a tree for a relatedneighbour. 1881 Census has Roop, but it does look a little like Koop which is how the mormons have transcribed it'.
