In household 54, the enumerator wrote the surname as 'Hawking', a suggested alternative surname is 'Hawkins'. The person suggesting the alternative surname provided this comment: 'Alben (aka Alfred) Hawkins was a Royal Engineer & the 1st settler in the area (1874). He suggested it be named Mt. Lehman instead of Mt. Alben. Ex Reeve of Matsqui. JGB'.
