Surname Notes On This Page

In household 7, the enumerator wrote the surname as 'Nanlais', a suggested alternative surname is 'Nantais'. The person suggesting the alternative surname provided this comment: 'I don't think the transcriber made an error but am reasonably sure that the census taker forgot to cross his "t" making it look like a "l" as I am researching the Nantais Name'.
